Acai Total Cleanse

The many different methods and forms of cleansing out there can be really confusing and tough to sift through even for experienced people. This site aims to help people educate themselves and make an informed decision as to which kind of cleansing regimen or routine would be appropriate for them. While I personally don’t endorse any products, I always advise at least looking into the different colon cleansing products and guides that are available to you. One of the most popular total cleanse ingredients to come along is the acai berry. This nutrient dense super fruit from the Amazon rain forest has become world-famous for its high levels of omega-3 fatty acids along with its high amounts of various vitamins and minerals as well as the all important inclusion of fiber which is crucial for any type of acai total cleanse.

As I mentioned earlier there are all sorts of different cleansing products that contain this amazing berry and I at least advise looking into them if you’re someone who is uncomfortable doing it on their own with no instruction for guidelines. Some of the other ways that you can do an acai total cleanse is through a more natural method by adding the acai berry to your various juices and smoothie recipes that you might use during a cleanse, or even with your normal diet. One of the best and easiest ways to get this berry is through freeze dried powdered form as this particular form of the acai berry can be added not only to juice and more liquid forms but it also blends and mixes really well with a fruit smoothie and can really add to the nutritional value of either form. This kind of supplement can actually be found in alternative health food stores along with more traditional healthy oriented stores and food chains like whole foods for example.

A can of this powdered berry will generally run you anywhere between $20-$30, I find it tends to be around $25 in most places and will generally last you for about a month if you use the recommended servings. You can also get acai berry in freeze dried powder capsule form as well, though this tends to be a little less effective and a little bit more expensive, and when doing an acai total cleanse you want to make sure you’re not spending too much money so going with the non-capsule form maybe best.

Colon Cleansing Smoothies

One of the greatest ways to total cleanse your body is through the use of colon cleansing smoothies. These types of smoothies can come in all sorts of different forms, tastes, colors and consistencies. Colon cleansing smoothies are generally done with two different types of smoothies, one of these types is a simple fruit smoothie made from your favorite frozen produce or local fresh produce. The other kind of smoothie that’s great for colon cleansing is what’s known as the green smoothie, this kind of smoothie is essentially a fruit smoothie with additional greens like spinach or kale. Both smoothies have their place and can both be effective while colon cleansing. If you really want to cover ground I suggest doing both types of smoothies and seeing which ones work best for you, you may find you like both.

The first kind of smoothie that I’ll address is a simple fruit smoothie which can be done with any number of different produce. I do love or feel they are certain types of fruits that give you more bang for your buck than others might. My personal favorite fruits for making colon cleansing smoothies are primarily with different types of berries and a banana or two to add thickness and potassium. The types of berries advise using our Aronia berries, elderberries, wild blueberries, acai berries, and raspberries for extra fiber. Fruits in general naturally act as a cleanser and detoxifying agent, these types of smoothies are great to have any time and give you a much-needed boost of fiber, vitamins, nutrients, minerals, and enzymes that will really allow your body to stay in peak shape and also keep your colon and digestive system moving in a healthy manner.

Another type of colon cleansing smoothie is the one I mentioned earlier, these are recent trend and have lovingly become known as “green smoothies”. As I said before what makes these green is that they are essentially fruit smoothies with additional greens added to them. While plenty of people enjoy drinking a sweet and satisfying fruit smoothie many would not like the idea of drinking leafy greens just as much as they generally don’t like eating them whole. The benefit of blending them within a fruit smoothie however is that all the fruit sugars mask the taste of the greens and so you end up getting all the benefits of greens like kale, spinach, chard and other types of greens without having to feel like you are a rabbit chewing on salad. You also get the added benefit of increased nutrition over a regular smoothie plus you get a large amount of additional fiber which is key to keeping your colon cleansed.

The Green Tea Colon Cleanse Routine

Green tea has a lot of health benefits and you can find this amazing tonic in a variety of different forms from bottled sugary teas, bottles healthy teas, tea bag, loose leaf tea, and the crushed powdered from known as matcha in Japan.  Having said all this, colon cleansing is becoming widely known for its own health benefits and the word is getting out about how having a properly functioning digestive system supplemented by regular colon cleansing is helping to keep people living longer, and living better. So it stands to reason that combining these two methods of improving ones health can only help to boost both methods effectiveness in helping to cleanse the body and strengthen its overall function, and a green tea colon cleanse routine is just the method to get us there.

The green tea colon cleanse routine is fairly simple, when you do your normal juicing with fresh organic produce, you also should either brew yourself some fresh green tea, or consume high quality bottled green tea like ito en’s oi ocha which has no artificial ingredients or sweeteners, just vitamin C to preserve the antioxidants and flavor. Green tea’s natural catechins help boost the immune system and also help along with naturally occurring and safe levels of caffeine help boost your overall metabolism, so when this is combined with fresh veggie juice, the effect can be extremely powerful. Make sure whatever produce you use to juice is washed using a quality veggie wash, and make sure your produce is either locally grown or organic so you’re not juicing bas chemicals and pesticides.

Green tea is not just healthy as a tonic, tincture, or tea, but it can also be used as an additional and vital ingredient to a fruit smoothie or green smoothie. You might be wondering how this can be, because your obviously not going to blend tea leaves, and tea is a liquid obviously so that wouldn’t work. What I suggest you do is buy the form of green tea used in Japanese tea ceremonies for centuries called “matcha”, this is essentially the tea leaf ground up by hand into a fine powdery or granular form, this allows for the WHOLE leaf to be consumed and as such you get the additional high chlorophyll content that is lost when tea is brewed and you just get the extracts, this particular form of the green tea colon cleanse routine is great for those who are not comfortable brewing their own tea and enjoy smoothies.
