Fruits in general naturally act as a cleanser and detoxifying agent, these types of smoothies are great to have any time and give you a much-needed boost of fiber, vitamins, nutrients, minerals, and enzymes that will really allow your body to stay in peak shape and also keep your colon and digestive system moving in a healthy manner.

Another type of colon cleansing smoothie is the one I mentioned earlier, these are recent trend and have lovingly become known as “green smoothies”. As I said before what makes these green is that they are essentially fruit smoothies with additional greens added to them. While plenty of people enjoy drinking a sweet and satisfying fruit smoothie many would not like the idea of drinking leafy greens just as much as they generally don’t like eating them whole. The benefit of blending them within a fruit smoothie however is that all the fruit sugars mask the taste of the greens and so you end up getting all the benefits of greens like kale, spinach, chard and other types of greens without having to feel like you are a rabbit chewing on salad. In addition to the two glasses at each meal you should also make sure you have water with them as well at least a glass or two along with having water in between. You can also have a glass or two of fresh juice in between your main juice drinking meals, just don’t ever forget to drink purified water it’s crucial that your body is made of mostly water you need it to survive juice alone is not enough.

If your method for cleansing is through drinking smoothies or green smoothies for directions will be similar but slightly different. Depending upon the serving size you can have anywhere between one large glass or two smaller glasses of smoothies within each time you normally eat a meal or along with a meal. You generally need to drink more juice than you do drinking smoothies because juice contains no fiber and smoothies do and they generally are more filling as a result. If you’re curious what kind of juice I would personally recommend you take I recommend doing a minimum mixture of beet juice, cucumber juice, carrot juice, celery juice and anything else you might want to add for sweetness like apple Juice. As regards the smoothies I generally recommend you add greens to your fruit smoothies. The fruits I would recommend are mostly berries like blueberries, elderberries, aronia berries, black berries, and at least one whole banana for thickness and potassium. The greens I recommend adding would be kale, spinach, or rainbow chard. Always remember not to be afraid to try out different varieties and change things up with greens and fruits you use for your juices and your smoothies so you keep things not only new and interesting but also healthy by introducing different nutrients and flavors on a regular basis. These are simple total cleanse directions and guidelines that anyone can follow and really work.

This blender is the most powerful on the market, and its super easy to clean, myself and my friends all enjoy it because of how quick it is to clean, just squeeze a few drops of soap, pulse the blender and rinse and your done! With the advent of high powered blenders and a more health conscious society the idea of making smoothies at home instead of paying the very expensive prices for smoothie bar smoothies and juices has become quite popular. Fruits if juiced too much can be too much sugar for the body to take in one shot and can be very detrimental to one’s health if done regularly due to said sugar, but at the same time you want to mask the often times unpleasant taste of the low sugar veggie juice. In this case you want to make a smoothie instead, this allows for the full nutritional value of berries and other fruits to be consumed while also incorporating lots of leafy greens like wheatgrass (which are not technically veggies) that can be mixed with anything (unlike actual veggies including starches like carrots or other types as well which have a tendency not to play nice when digested at the same time with fruits as a whole food albeit blended food).
