Our kidneys are part of the endocrine and urinary bodily systems. These dual organs perform some very vital functions within the body, some of which are, to cleanse the blood, produce hormones and regulate the urinary system. The means through which the kidneys filter toxins and chemicals out of our body is by separating toxic and potentially hazardous chemicals from our bloodstream our body then produces more urine that flushes away waste product from our bodies. Our kidneys also help to maintain a proper balance of chemicals and help to ensure that our body is in proper balance in terms of electrolytes and water as well.
Generally, a kidney cleanse is a program that more often than not involves drinking plentiful amounts of various liquids like water and juice within a healthy diet. Sometimes simply improving your diet and taking in more water be enough to cleanse your kidneys, but more often than not in today’s modern world with the level of processed foods, pollutants, and toxins that we taken every day, a total cleanse for the kidneys is usually needed. One really effective method is simply by juice fasting, this involves fasting and avoiding eating solid food for lease 3 to 7 days while only drinking juice and water. Sometimes however as we get older we might start to accumulate what are known as kidney stones and we might have to add even more ingredients to our kidney cleanse to make it effective. One of these added ingredients are in the form of any sort of herbal supplementation. If you do these cleanses regularly every single day it is very possible that you can completely dissolve all kidney stones within three weeks time.
There all sorts of herbs that can easily dissolve kidney stones and kidney crystals. Some of the herbs you can use include ginger, parsley, marshmallow root, hydrangea, gravel root, and goldenrod herb. If you are going to include roots and herbs with your tea or juices make sure they are fresh and organic not powders. I also recommend taking a natural form of vitamin B6 and magnesium to help prevent oxalate stones from developing. If you are going to drink tea, and I do recommend drinking it because it is quite healthy, please avoid drinking regular tea because it more often than not contains too much oxalate acid to be used alongside with cleansing products. I recommend drinking white tea, this is the least processed form of tea, and as such it contains the highest level of antioxidants and is likely to be the best for your kidneys, this tea also contains the least amount of caffeine so it’s great for those who are sensitive to caffeine. Just keep in mind though, if you don’t have any kidney stones or any serious kidney problems and you’re simply trying to maintain or make some small improvements, generally just increasing the water that you drink every day will be enough to do this. Just make sure the water that you drink is pure and it’s filtered.
